A Directory for Inner Movement
resources worldwide.
This website is just a table of contents
for my personal notebook
stuffed full of spirit and movement-related
webpages.
For no reason but our rhythm and presence.
There is no original data presented here.
It's just a collection of links to information
maintained by other people.
To print the notebook, get a three-ring binder
and print each of the links that have
a leaf next to it, below.
Then pencil in the page number indicated for each page.
The web constantly changes, so if a webpage listed is now unavailable,
click on the
leaf for an old copy saved here.

Northern California Dance Collective (NCDC)
"Northern California Dance Collective is a diverse group of people who love to dance. We are especially interested in the place where dance and community meet and one of our goals is to create more of these places in our lives.
Our backgrounds in dance are as varied as the forms of dance and movement we enjoy, but we have a common love of the free-form improvisational dance that happens in the Bay area at places such as Dance Jam in Berkeley, Barefoot Boogie in San Francisco, Dance Spirit in San Rafael, Fairfax Dance Jam and Community Dance Jam in Santa Cruz, as well as Dance New England on the East Coast and the new Southern California Dance Collective.
We also appreciate the smoke-free, alcohol-free, non-judgmental atmosphere each of these dances provides. It is through these dances that many of us have met and come together to create the NCDC Summer Dance Camp."

Shinichi MOMO Koga is a silent actor and Butoh dancer (Hijikata lineage) whose productions, both solo and ensemble, have been causing havoc since 1988. Koga restructures dance, theater and cinema forms, extracting the vital essence of each to create a sharper reality. As a teacher, performer, and director, Koga inhabits the shadow self and swims the collision between modern life and primal being. He challenges himself and others to attain balances between chaos and serenity, to be a raging storm in blue skies and a breath of calm in the midst of turbulence.
